27 hole Scottish Links style championship golf course

This beautiful 27 hole Scottish Links style championship golf course will be an

experience you won’t forget.

A ten minute drive southwest of Saskatoon on the scenic Valley Road leads to a facility that offers three different combinations of 18 holes which will challenge all aspects of your game. Each combination has a par 72 with slope ratings of 125 to 136. Moon Lake presently holds the highest slope rating in Saskatchewan.

This course was built in 1989, opening its first nine in June of 1990. Moon Lake is a links, dunes style golf course, reminiscent of the old Scottish design. The course follows the traditional Scottish links design with water hazards, heavily mounded fairways and long native grass roughs.

Moon Lake Ladies Golf Leagues - Schedule of Events

Format:

  • 18 holes on Tuesday mornings (8 am – 10 am determined by time of year)
  • League Registration Fee - $25.00
  • All Ladies Day League members must belong to Golf Canada - $40.00 fee

2023 Nine and Dine  - Final Evening September 13

Nine and Dine is a fun Ladies League that takes place on Wednesdays throughout the season.  You may sign up with a group of friends or as a single to meet new people.There will be a registration fee of $25.00 and mandatory credit card on file to sign up. The first 100 to sign up will make up our ladies Nine and Dine.  

Nine and Dine will have tee times available starting at 4:00 pm.  Please remember that if you sign up, and have not canceled by 9am the morning of, without a replacement you will be charged for your spot.  

Weekly Sign Up.
To ensure that those who are enjoying Nine and Dine on a regular basis continue doing so, we use a weekly sign up.  You will be able to sign up online 10 days in advance, and 7 days in person or over the phone. Monday morning prior to Nine and Dine, all unbooked tee times will be opened up for the public.

Payment.
Walking $48 / Riding $57 (includes golf, appetizer, drink special and prizes!!)
Weekly food and Beverage will be available at the Moon Lake Station Restaurant.    

All prizing will be drawn and sized by using the  Apparel Form and handed out the following week.  There will be no exchanges or trading for prizing.
•    To speed up the nightly check in process, we can use credit cards as prepayments.
•    We do not accept Cash at this time.

Commitment.
We ask that you make every effort to attend Nine and Dine if you have signed up, and if for some reason you cannot attend, please advise us by 9am the morning of.  Please keep in mind that weather is not always the same at Moon Lake as it is in the city, please be optimistic.

Registration Form

Moon Lake Tuesday Men’s Night is a friendly competitive 18-hole match play league.
Maximum 64 Teams

We will be using a Shot-gun format starting at 4:00 pm.  Please visit moonlakegolf.com or mlgcc.dudaone.com for schedule. 

Format is a two-person best ball, match play.  The team with the player who scores the lowest gross score on each hole wins the hole.  During the season there is a NO tie breaker format, winning team gets two points and ties are one point each.   Everyone makes the playoffs and each flight will have a champion.  All teams are flighted at the start of the season based on their handicap.  Flights are adjusted to make sure every team is competitive every week.  We require a commitment from all players in the league when you register. 

Dues will be required at time of sign up.   

The first week is May 2nd (subject to change)

REGISTRATION

Yearly dues are $50.00 (without Golf Canada Card) or $95.00 (with Golf Canada Card) If you play in any Golf Saskatchewan event throughout the year you will need the Golf Canada Card, or want to keep a handicap with Golf Canada.  The fees go towards prizing and year end presentations. Registration fee must be received at the same time as the Registration form.  

**All returning teams will have priority to sign up by March 15th after this date it will be open to everyone.  

**The Clothing and Apparel (part of the registration form), will help with weekly draw prizing.    

WEEKLY CHECK-IN

All golfers are required to have a credit card on their profile.  This will speed up the check-in process.  

WEEKLY FEES 

The weekly fee includes prizing and meal *Mandatory* 
Moon Lake Members - $26 (walking), $38 (riding) 
Non-Members - $72 (walking), $84 (riding) 

Optional Skins and Cash CP will be TBD. 

TIPS

• Give putts -PACE OF PLAY- 
• Play ready golf and pick up if your score will not be counted for your team -PACE OF PLAY- 
• Prizing will be drawn after each night, and handed out the following week.  Please make sure to fill out and return the email requesting sizing.      
• Supper is included in the fees and will be served following golf at the Station.  
• Winning team please record the match results following your round by visiting mlgcc.dudaone.com – if no winner is recorded it will be entered as a tie.

LEAGUE EXPECTATIONS 

In order to keep our league successful and enjoyable for all participants we require a commitment from all teams. Please note that the league runs every week, if you cannot make every week we suggest having a third person that can sub for your team when needed. If you cannot make a week and can’t find a sub, please inform the Pro Shop by Sunday at Noon so we have time to fill your match. There is zero tolerance for a no-show and will result in your termination from the league. League Fees are non-refundable. If your team does not have a representative present 4 times throughout the season this will also result in termination from the league. These expectations are in place to protect the entire league from not having a match or playing as a two-some. 

Course Etiquette

Course Information and Cancellation Policy

Changes/Cancellations to tee times may be made up to 12 hours prior to your booking time.  Any changes outside of this parameter will result in your card /account being charged the full amount. (Please be mindful to book for the correct amount of players ex: booking a foursome and showing up with two players will result in a charge to your credit card).  If prices differ from those at the golf course, the course prices shall be deemed correct. To make changes or to cancel your booking, please either log into your online profile or call our Golf Shop 306.382.5500

We expect nothing more from golfers than the general etiquette that is part of the integrity of the game of golf. Our Course Marshals are employed to monitor course conduct and speed of play. We ask that you adhere to the following:

  • Repair your ball mark and at least one other on the green.
  • Replace all divots.
  • Rake all bunkers.
  • Flagsticks may now be removed.
  • Single cart requests will be charged as a full cart (both seats).
  • Soft spikes only. No metal spikes are allowed.

Frost Policy
Due to the unpredictable nature of frost we have adopted the following guidelines relative to bookings in the early morning.  

  •  If the golf course is closed due to frost at the time of your booking it will be canceled. 
  • You will be placed on a waitlist in the order of which you arrived at the course. 
  • When the frost clears and the course opens, we will begin play at the first tee time that is not affected by the frost delay. 
  • Your group will be fit into the tee schedule from the wait list when an opening occurs. 

    This policy is the fairest for all concerned.  Please make your booking with this policy in mind.

  • No torn or tattered blue jeans.
  • No sweatpants,sweatshorts,etc.
  • No muscle shirts.
  • No tank tops/swim wear (sleeveless, collared shirts are acceptable).
  • Shirts and shoes required.
  • Running shoes, golf shoes or golf sandals are required (no spikes).
  • Power Golf Carts are normally supplied for a tournament.
  • The cart operator must complete a cart rental agreement form. This agreement outlines the conditions in case of damages or harm that may be sustained during their time of usage.
  • Drivers are required to carry a valid driver’s license and must provide a credit card imprint at the time of rental.
  • The 90-degree rule requires you to remain on the cart path at all times until you are in line with the ball. At this time you can make a 90-degree turn to your ball and then proceed back in the same manner.
  • Keep carts away from bunkers and never travel in the hills.
  • Single cart requests will be charged as a full cart (both seats). 
  • Keep up with the group in front of you NOT comfortably in front of the group behind you.
  • While in the cart staging area please be ready to proceed to the first tee when the course assistant has sent the group in front of you.
  • Play ready golf - have each member of your group proceed to their ball as quickly as possible so everyone is ready to play when it is their turn.
  • Please cooperate with our Course Marshals requests.
